Penn Medicine renovating outpatient center to accommodate cardiac services — 3 insights

Penn Medicine Lancaster (Pa.) General Health will renovate its outpatient facility in Elizabethtown, Pa., to accommodate cardiac and behavioral health services, local news affiliate Fox 43 reports.

What you should know:

1. In addition to the new specialities, Lancaster General will expand the physical therapy services currently offered at the center.

2. The health system also plans to build an urgent care near the outpatient center. LG Health physicians and advanced practice providers will staff the clinic. LG Health is affiliated with Lancaster General Hospital.

3. The urgent care facility will be Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health’s seventh.
