Three major deals made waves in the ASC industry this year:

Anchor Health Properties has purchased two medical office buildings in Sacramento, Calif., one with an ASC, for $50 million, Sacramento Business Journal reported Dec 21. 

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare has acquired the Georgia Eye Institute Surgery Center in Savannah.

A building housing two ASCs in the San Francisco-area community of Castro Valley was sold for an undisclosed amount.

A building owned by nonprofit health system Texas Health Resources and anchored by a surgery center in Fort Worth, Texas, has been sold.

Physicians Realty Trust on Dec. 20 completed the acquisition of 14 medical office buildings across eight states.

The KKR Real Estate Select Trust has acquired its first healthcare acquisition — a portfolio of 15 outpatient medical office buildings and ASCs throughout the Southern U.S., global investment firm KKR said Dec. 20.

Charlotte, N.C.-based outpatient healthcare real estate investor Flagship Healthcare Trust acquired a medical office building in Benton, Ark.
