HCA Healthcare acquired Alaska's newest ASC, the Anchorage-based Alaska Surgery Center, the company said in an Oct. 6 news release.

HCA Healthcare, in Nashville, Tenn., partnered with 50 physicians to acquire Provo-based Central Utah Surgical Center, the company said Oct. 6 in a news release.

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Surgery Partners has watched its stock lose more than a third of its value since recording an all-time high of $67.05 this June. The NASDAQ listed the company's stock at $41.50 on Oct. 6.

Key-Whitman Eye Center opened its Fort Worth, Texas, location on Oct. 4, according to Community Impact Newspaper.

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Pinnacle Dermatology has acquired Minneapolis-area plastic surgery center Omni Cosmetic, Pinnacle said Oct. 5.

Boston-based Bain Capital Real Estate and Denver-based Evergreen Medical Properties acquired real estate in St. Louis featuring an ASC and an eye practice, the companies said Oct. 5. Financial details of the joint venture acquisition were not disclosed.

Sarasota, Fla.-based multispecialty practice U.S. Eye is partnering with Chesapeake, Va.-based Center for Visual and Surgical Excellence and Elizabeth City, N.C.-based Albemarle Eye Center and Precision Eye Care, the company said Oct. 5.

Physicians Realty Trust, a healthcare real estate company, has purchased HonorHealth's newly built medical office building in Phoenix for $31.75 million, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

Montecito Medical acquired a medical office building housing a surgery center in Arlington, Texas, the company said Sept. 30.
