Dallas-based United Surgical Partners International, Brentwood, Tenn.-based Surgery Partners and Deerfield, Ill.-based SCA Health are three of the biggest ASC chains in the country. 

Optum, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group and parent company of ASC chain SCA Health, made six huge deals this year totaling more than $8 billion, focusing on physician groups and value-based care.

Dallas-based Lincoln Advisors has acquired the Northwest Medical Center, a 149,202-square-foot, four-story medical office building in Atlanta, according to a Dec. 9 report from ConnectCRE.

Woodlake Medical Building, a 42,467-square-foot medical office building in Woodbury, Minn., has been acquired by Davis Healthcare Real Estate for $18 million, according to a Dec. 9 report from Commercial Property Executive.

Hospitals and health systems, like ASCs, are being affected by rising labor and supply costs while reimbursements remain low. 

MedCore Partners has been tasked by Healthcare Realty Trust with leasing five medical office buildings in the metro Dallas area. The buildings provide space for a variety of healthcare services, including surgery, oncology and orthopedics.
