East Garden, N.Y.-based Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island acquired Eye Care Associates/Glaucoma Consultants of Long Island and its two locations in Bethpage, N.Y., and Lake Success, N.Y.
Here's what you should know.
1. ECA was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Bethpage.
2. ECA physician Robert Rothman, MD, said the partnership was a "natural fit and a key milestone for our practice." He added Ophthalmic Consultants shares the same passion for patient care.
3. ECA has seven ophthalmologists on staff.
4. All ECA physicians will maintain their current roles.
