Omni Eye Services purchases Pennsylvania-based eye center: 5 key points

Omni Eye Services acquired King of Prussia, Pa.-based Kremer Eye Center, according to PE Hub.

Here are five things to know.

1. Kremer is a surgical eye provider with locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. It's one of the largest multispecialty ophthalmology practices in the Mid-Atlantic.

2. Omni Eye Services, a NMS Capital portfolio company, acquired the practice under undisclosed terms. Kremer has 35-plus years of history providing ophthalmology services and was among the first to provide LASIK procedures in the U.S.

3. As part of the relationship, Kremer physicians will maintain current roles within the group and continue to hold significant ownership; the practice will continue to operate as Kremer Eye Center in existing markets.

4. Omni will provide administrative support and practice management services to Kremer centers. The practice hopes to expand in the future.

5. Kremer includes 50 providers and 16 practice locations as well as two ASCs.
