Ohio Hospital CEO Discusses Benefits of Surgery Center Acquisition

The CEO of Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Pa., discusses the benefits of the organization’s acquisition of River View Surgery Center in a report from The Eagle-Gazette.

The hospital acquired the ambulatory surgery center earlier this year and has been operating the ASC since March 1.

 

FMC President and CEO Mina Ubbing told The Eagle-Gazette the acquisition provides better access for the hospital’s patients and gives the hospital increased access to operating rooms without the need for construction.
