North Carolina’s Moses Cone Applies to Build Surgery Center in High Point

Moses Cone Health System, based in Greensboro, N.C., has applied to the state to add a new ambulatory surgery center to its MedCenter High Point (N.C.) facility, according to a report from the News & Record.

The $10.7 million ASC would be a joint venture between the health system and physicians. The 12,000-square-foot facility would be called Triad Surgery Center and feature three ORs.

 

A decision on the application for the ASC could take place over the summer, and if the project is approved, the surgery center could open in fall 2012, according to the report.
