North Carolina independent physician group inks value-based care partnership

Raleigh Medical Group has announced a strategic partnership with Fort Myers, Fla.-based Millennium Physician Group to expand value-based care delivery for Medicare and Medicare Advantage patients in North Carolina, according to a May 13 news release.

Through the partnership, RMG will join Millennium’s North Carolina risk-based entity, with Medicare Advantage contracts expected to begin in 2026 and a progression toward full-risk arrangements and ACO participation in 2027.

RMG will remain an independent physician organization while gaining access to Millennium’s risk adjustment infrastructure, quality performance programs and data-driven care capabilities.
