A medical office building in Wilmington, N.C., that houses a surgery center, was sold for $11.2 million, according to a Sept. 16 report from Wilmington Biz.
The two-story facility includes 22 exam rooms, an ultrasound lab and three surgical procedure rooms. The center is about 20,000 square feet.
The MOB is occupied by Wilmington Surgical Associates, an affiliate of Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health.
Wilmington Surgical Associates will not change its operations under the new owners.
HPIV Wilmington II, a limited liability company, purchased the building. The company lists the same address as Milwaukee-based Hammes Partners, a healthcare real estate investment firm.
The seller in the transaction, BMT Properties, is managed by Gregory Bebb, MD, a surgeon at Wilmington Surgical Associates, the report said.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
