North Carolina Accelerates Review of Greensboro ASC CON for $5M Expansion

The North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation has approved acceleration of a review of Greensboro Specialty Surgical Center's certificate of need application for a $5 million expansion project, according to a report by The Business Journal.

The 11,000-square-foot surgery center currently has two endoscopy rooms and three operating rooms. The CON calls for 5,761 square feet of expansion and the renovation of an additional 2,659 square feet.

Greensboro Specialty Surgical Center is affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates.
