The ASC is a multi-specialty surgical unit with seven operating rooms. It will perform almost any procedure suitable for outpatient surgery, according to the report. The facility also includes an advanced endoscopy center.
The official grand opening of SUNY Downstate Medical Center at Bay Ridge will take place Jan. 27. The facility is located at the site of the former Victory Memorial Hospital
