New ASC Planned for Louisiana’s Woman’s Hospital MOB

The infrastructure for a new ASC is part of a $40 million medical office building for Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, La., that will commence construction soon, according to a news release from Ventas, which is having its subsidiary, Lillibridge Healthcare Services, serve as the developer, architect, space planner and construction manager of the new project.

Woman’s Hospital will own the 250,000-square-foot MOB, which will be located on a replacement hospital campus for Woman’s Hospital that is currently under development five miles from the existing campus.

 

The MOB will be physically connected to the replacement hospital.

 

Along with the ASC infrastructure, the MOB will feature a breast center, maternal-fetal medicine center and other potential outpatient services.
