New Arkansas Surgery Center in Little Rock to be Completed in July

St. Vincent Health System in Little Rock, Ark., is targeting July 2011 for completion of a new ambulatory surgery center in its main hospital, St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center, according to a report from The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

The roughly 22,000-square foot ASC will feature 11 surgical suits and perform procedures in specialties including gynecology, orthopedics and urology.

 

Construction on the $8 million facility began in March 2010. The outpatient surgery center started to perform surgeries Jan. 3 in completed surgical suites.
