New NY Surgery Center Opens in Utica

A new ambulatory surgery center has opened in Utica, N.Y., according to an Observer-Dispatch report.

The $4.7 million ASC was opened in September by Digestive Disease Medicine. St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare are financial partners in the outpatient surgical center.

 

The ASC, which focuses on colonoscopy and upper endoscopy procedures, features four procedure rooms and seven physicians on staff.
