Newly Renovated Louisiana Surgery Center Opens in Hammond

North Oaks Surgery Center in Hammond, La., part of North Oaks Health System, has reopened following renovations, according to a news release from the health system.

The ambulatory surgery center was acquired by the health system late last year from Symbion Healthcare.

 

It features four ORs and two special procedure rooms, and offers a variety of pediatric and adult outpatient procedures in specialties including cosmetic, dental, ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, urology and pain management.

 

First patients were seen in the reopened ASC on April 4. An open house was held May 12.
