TN Hospital in Columbia Applies for Surgery Center CON

Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tenn., has applied for a certificate of need to build an ambulatory surgery center in Spring Hill, Tenn., according to a Daily Herald report.

The $7.9-million multi-specialty ASC would be run by Maury Regional and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. It would feature two operating suites and two procedure rooms.

 

If Maury Regional receives the CON for the outpatient surgical center, construction is projected to begin in June 2012, targeting completion in Feb. 2013. Maury Regional expects to be informed of a decision on the CON in Feb. 2012.
