Healthcare real estate company Rendina is overseeing the construction of a medical office building in Florence, Ala., the Times Daily reports.
Here's what you should know:
1. The 72,000-square-foot building is expected to open in late 2018. It'll house several services that compliment North Alabama Medical Center, also in Florence.
2. Florence-based North Alabama Bone and Joint Clinic as well as North Alabama Medical Center will anchor the building.
3. A spokesperson for the hospital said the building will also include Alabama Heart and Vascular Clinic, North Alabama OBGYN, Shoals Obstetrics and Gynecology and Tennessee Valley Cardiovascular Center — all based in Florence.
4. A comprehensive cancer center could also be built on the campus, pending state approval.
