New Honolulu Ophthalmic Surgery Center Breaks Ground

A new ophthalmic ambulatory surgery center has broken ground in Honolulu, according to multiple news reports.

The Eye Surgery Center of Hawaii is part of an $8-million eye care campus at Dole Cannery Shops in Iwilei. The ASC is expected to have the capacity to perform up to 20,000 eye surgeries annually.

 

The campus is being formed by an offshoot of Honolulu-based Cellular Bioengineering.
