New East Texas Medical Center Facility in Quitman to Include Surgery Center

Officials of the East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System and the Wood County Central Hospital District have announced plans for a new $35 million facility in Quitman, Texas, that will include a surgery center, according to a news release.

The new ETMC Quitman, which will replace an existing facility and is expected to measure more than 84,000 square feet, will include a surgery center with two operating rooms and a GI lab.

 

Other areas of the facility will include an emergency department, nursing unit, imaging services and an outpatient cardiac rehabilitation center.
