The surgery center, which will have two operating suites, is being developed by Ivory Kinslow, MD, an ophthalmologist who owns the South Arkansas Eye Center in El Dorado.

Construction on the ophthalmology surgery center has already begun and could take up to a year-and-a-half to complete. When it is open, the surgical center will primarily be used for cataract and other eye surgeries, and is expected to have the capability of performing laser eye surgery.
