Nebraska Medicine to hold ribbon-cutting ceremony for $71M surgery center — 5 notes

Nebraska Medicine is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Lauritzen Outpatient Center in Omaha on Dec. 17, 2016, according to Live Well Nebraska.

Here are five notes:

1. The surgery center costs almost $71 million.

2. Lauritzen Outpatient Center is a four-story, 170,000-square-foot facility.

3. The surgery center’s first floor will house an outpatient pharmacy, orthopedic clinic, radiology and a new rehabilitation gym.

4. On the second floor, the ASC has 10 operating rooms and 40 pre- and post-op rooms.

5. The third floor houses various clinics offer services for ear, nose and throat as well as audiology, oral, maxillofacial surgery, oral facial prosthetic and urology.
