National Spine & Pain Centers opens center in Virginia: 5 notes

Matthew Holland, MD, will lead National Spine & Pain Center's new pain management center in Charlottesville, Va.

Here are five notes:

1. The pain management center will offer patients non-surgical interventional procedures and medication management.

2. Board-certified in anesthesiology, Dr. Holland holds a subspecialty certification in pain management.

3. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas-Houston Medical School.

4. Following medical school, Dr. Holland completed his anesthesiology residency at University of Virginia in Charlottesville.

5. Dr. Holland underwent his pain management fellowship at Tucson-based University of Arizona.
