Montefiore Medical Center, WESTMED Practice Partners Team for New Facility, ASC

A partnership between Montefiore Medical Center and WESTMED Practice Partners has announced an agreement with Simone Health Development Group to build a new medical building that includes an ambulatory surgery center.

The 93,000-square-foot facility is scheduled to begin construction on Nov. 1. It will include a 12-operating room and four procedure room surgery center. The site will also include an imaging center, laboratory, pharmacy and physician practices. The adjacent building houses Hutchinson Metro Center, which include Montefiore’s Center for Orthopaedic Specialists.

The facility will be constructed in the Bronx, N.Y.
