Helena, Mont.-based St. Peter’s Health has closed its Townsend (Mont.) Clinic and consolidated local services at Billings Clinic Broadwater, according to a notice posted on the health system’s website.
Starting Oct. 9, Billings Clinic Broadwater will become the Townsend community’s single location for local healthcare services, including primary care, emergency and post-acute care. Provider staff from the Townsend Clinic, including nurse practitioner Meagan Watne, moved to Billings Clinic Broadwater, while patients who want to stay with St. Peter’s Health can continue care at its Helena locations.
The two organizations are also exploring bringing St. Peter’s Health visiting specialists to Billings Clinic Broadwater, including orthopedics, general surgery, neurology and cardiology.
