Cape Girardeau, Mo.-based Saint Francis Healthcare will open Black River Ambulatory Surgery Center after receiving final state and federal approval, the Southeast Missourian reports.
What you should know:
1. Administrators expect to receive the approval and open in November.
2. The ASC will feature general surgery, gastroenterology and orthopedics services, among others.
3. Saint Francis partnered with local physicians to staff the center.
