Medical Facilities Corp. posted revenues of $96.1 million for the second quarter of fiscal year 2017.

1. Surgical case volume increased 14.9 percent. Revenue per case also rose because of the higher proportion of complex cases.
2. Medical Facilities Corp. increased its EBITDA 22.2 percent year-over-year to $23.1 million.
3. The company announced dividends of $0.07 per share.
4. Medical Facilities Interim CEO Jeffrey Lozon said in a release the company "showed growth across all key metrics." He highlighted several facets of the second quarter, including the introduction of a new orthopedic care team, the acquisition of Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Prairie States Surgical Center and the addition of several physicians.
5. Mr. Lonzon anticipates Medical Facilities will continue to grow throughout the second half of 2017.
