Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies
in Fort Collins, Colo., has begun expansion and remodeling efforts of its facility, which includes renovations to the surgery center.

Robeson, N.C.-based Southeastern Regional Medical Center has announced plans to move forward with constructing a 60,000-square-foot medical facility which will include a 13,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center.

Twin Cities Orthopedics plans to expand its surgery center in Burnsville, Minn., with a 35,200-square-foot, two-story addition.

Gailey Eye Clinic has opened a retina surgery center in Bloomington, Ill.

Orthopedics-focused Hospital for Special Surgery unveiled plans to build a 207,000-square-foot, 13-story ambulatory care facility that would include three floors of ambulatory surgery operating rooms.

Avera Sacred Heart Hospital recently completed a new $8 million surgery center.

Construction has begun on a new 10,000-square-foot outpatient surgery center in Bridgeport, Ohio, which will house the Compassionate Care Center for Surgical Excellence, to be finished next summer.

Officials from Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital dedicated the Mildred Milliman Outpatient Surgery Center on Thursday, which is a $10.3 million, 22,000-square-foot facility with four operating rooms and three endoscopic suites.

Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kan., revealed plans to open an $18 million, 40,000-square-foot surgery center over the next 18 to 24 months.

St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor (Mich.) announced plans to break ground on a $30 million addition that will include an outpatient surgery center in Superior Township, which will be ready in the spring of 2014.
