Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center to Build Outpatient Surgery Center

Marshalltown (Iowa) Medical & Surgical Center has announced plans for the construction of a $35 million, 75,000-square-foot facility, according to a DesMoinesRegister.com report.

The facility will house a four-operating room outpatient surgery center, an urgent care clinic, rehabilitation services, imaging services and laboratory services.

The project is expected to take place in three phases. The first phase of the project has received approval from the Iowa State Health Facilities Council.
