Miami-based Pediatrica Health Group has acquired a long-established pediatric practice in Westchester, Fla., according to a May 5 news release.
The acquired practice is led by Juan Ruiz-Unger, MD, who has provided pediatric care in the Westchester area for more than 40 years.
The acquisition expands Pediatrica’s multisite pediatric primary care network in South Florida, where sustained population growth has increased demand for pediatric services. As of September 2025, Pediatrica Health Group operates 10 practice locations
