The signing would end the company’s nearly two-year search for space to consolidate headquarter operations, which are currently in two buildings in the same office park.
Claire Gulmi, the company’s CFO, said it’s important to AmSurg to stay in Burton Hills and Davidson County. AmSurg currently occupies about 75,000 square feet where the chain has about 350 corporate employees.
The chain has another 6,000 employees at its roughly 230 surgery centers, co-owned nationwide with physician partners.
