Laser Spine Institute opens Missouri ASC — 5 things to know

Laser Spine Institute opened a new ambulatory surgery center in Creve Coeur, Missouri.

This is the second Laser Spine Institute facility opened in the Midwest, and a third is planned. Here are five things to know about the Creve Coeur location:

1. Laser Spine Institute made 30 local hires so far to open the center.

2. The company is recruiting for nine additional positions within the coming months.

3. The new surgery center is expected to have an incremental economic impact of more than $32 million to the local community.

4. The center has three Class C operating rooms, 10 clinical exam rooms and a diagnostic imaging suite.

5. In addition to the clinical space, the surgery center has a patient café with catered breakfast and lunch, flat-screen televisions and wireless internet.

Laser Spine Institute already opened a center in Cleveland and will have a third new Midwestern center in Cincinnati. The company is based in Tampa, Fla.
