Iowa physician group’s ASC real estate changes hands

Nashville, Tenn.-based Montecito Medical has acquired a 14,380-square-foot medical outpatient property in Des Moines, Iowa that includes an ASC, according to a June 26 news release.

The building is fully occupied by Urology Center of Iowa, a 12-location specialty group and the dominant urology provider in the market. 

The acquisition marks Montecito Medical’s second purchase in the Upper Midwest in the past two months. Financial terms were not disclosed.
