Investment firm buys 2.6M shares of Surgery Partners & more — 7 ASC company key notes

Here are seven updates on ASC companies and industry-relevant companies to note:

Talomon Capital, a London-based investment firm, bought about 2.6 million shares of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Surgery Partners.

Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin's West Bend (Wis.) Surgery Center is relocating from the West Bend Health Center campus, which is undergoing reconstruction.

Norfolk, Neb.-based Faith Regional Health Services is planning to expand its outpatient services as its surgery center celebrates two decades in operation.

Five months after opening, East Freedom (Pa.) Surgical Associates is planning to add specialties and surgeons.

The Surgical Center of New Hampshire, a joint venture between Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates and Granite State Gastroenterology, will open in 2020.

GI Alliance, an independent gastroenterology services organization, invested in five ASCs owned by Texas Digestive Disease Consultants and the Illinois Gastroenterology Group.

Cape Regional Health System expects to open a $15 million, 19,000-square foot ASC on the campus of Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, N.J., in the summer of 2020.
