Investment firm acquires 2 Maryland medical office buildings

Thomas Park Investments has acquired two on-campus medical office buildings totaling 127,868 square feet on the MedStar Montgomery Medical Campus in Olney, Md.

The portfolio, known as the Olney 2-Pack, was purchased from Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health through a newly formed joint venture, according to an April 16 CityBiz report.

The properties comprise two buildings: one totaling 70,645 square feet, originally constructed in 1974 and renovated in 2000, and another totaling 57,223 square feet, built in 2000.

Both buildings are situated on the hospital campus, providing access to inpatient and outpatient services for patients and physicians.
