The surgery center — Rocky Mountain Surgery Center — was acquired by PMC in 2009. The surgery center remained open for a few years before relocating to a new hospital built by PMC that opened in May 2011.

With surgical volume increasing, PMC has applied for certification to reopen Rocky Mountain Surgery Center. The hospital has invested in infrastructure upgrades for the surgery center, which will feature four operating rooms.

PMC expects to receive certification to reopen soon, according to the report.
