Here are five things to know:

1. Pocatello Women’s Health Clinic has a 20-year history in the area, and KPVI reports Skyline Surgery Center “has been a heavily requested place for patients to go for procedures.”

2. The clinic doesn’t expect medical costs to increase as a result of the affiliation; KPVI reports they may decrease in the future. The transition is expected to be seamless for patients already treated at Pocatello-based Portneuf Medical Center, as the group will continue providing care there as well.
