Idaho Surgery Center Becomes Community Hospital Department

West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, Idaho, has announced the Idaho Surgery Center, also in Caldwell, is now a department of the community hospital, according to a hospital news release.

On Dec. 9, the outpatient surgical facility officially became a campus of West Valley Medical Center. The Idaho Surgery Center features three operating rooms and two procedure rooms.

 

“Both the hospital and the Idaho Surgery Center focus first and foremost on a high-quality, personalized approach,” said WVMC CEO Julie Taylor, in the release. “With these mutual goals and a joint commitment to improving the community, the new relationship is a natural fit.”

 

Specialties available at the Idaho Surgery Center include the following:

  • Gastroenterology
  • General surgery
  • Gynecologic surgery
  • Ophthalmic surgery
  • Orthopedic surgery
  • Otorhinolaryngologic (ENT) surgery
  • Pain management procedures
  • Urologic surgery
