Healthcare Realty Trust acquires surgery center for $5.1M in Q4 — 4 insights

Healthcare Realty Trust acquired $37 million in properties in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2018, including a $5.1 million surgery center suite.

What you should know:

1. The surgical suite is in the first floor of a building HRT acquired.

2. HRT owns the 114,000-square-foot property wholly.

3. The property is 94 percent leased. It’s connected to Ascension Health’s St. Alexius Medical Center in Chicago.

4. HRT also acquired its headquarters in the quarter. HRT paid $31.9 million for the 109,000-square-foot property.
