Here’s what you should know.

1. The surgery center was under development for two years. Over those two years, the center went through renovations, an accreditation and licensure process as well as insurer negotiations.

2. The health system purchased the building in 2015.

3. The center’s physicians specialize in gastroenterology, orthopedics and sports medicine, pain management and general surgery.

4. This is Goshen Health’s first foray into outpatient surgery center ownership.
