Going, going, gone: 2 surgery center properties sell for $34.4M

Havertown, Pa.-based Crozer-Keystone Medical Office and Surgery Center and Mount Kisco, N.Y.-based Caremount Medical Imaging and Surgery Center sold for $34.4 million, New York Real Estate Journal reports.

Here's what you should know:

1. Anchor Health Properties and Hammes Partners bought the facilities, beating out seven other offers.

2. CareMount Medical is the sole occupant in its 38,799-square-foot building. The multispecialty physician group recently extended its long-term lease.

"The property sits within CareMount's largest geographic concentration of outpatient facilities, which help to drive high patient volumes at the medical office building," said Holliday Fenoglio Fowler Senior Managing Director Jose Cruz, who served on the investment advisory team representing the seller.

3. Crozer-Keystone Medical Office and Surgery Center occupies two buildings totaling 68,737 square feet. The property is 92.5 percent leased.

4. Crozer-Keystone Medical Office and Surgery Center provides services including general surgery, radiation oncology, anesthesiology, ENT, gynecology, pain management, orthodontics, orthopedics, plastic surgery, podiatry, urology, ophthalmology, lab and gastroenterology.
