Tallahassee Primary Care Associates is closing after nearly 30 years, WFSU Public Media reported April 1.
The closure will take effect April 25, according to the report. In January, the practice announced that “select physicians” would be departing, and that other departures and service line closures would also potentially take place. In an open letter to patients, TPCA included a list of the practice’s physicians and how to reach their respective new practices.
TPCA also closed its onsite laboratory and lab services Feb. 28, along with its diagnostic services, which it transitioned to external laboratories on that date.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
