Here’s what you should know.
1. The center will be developed around SwiftPath Program protocols. The SwiftPath Method is a series of evidence-based rapid recovery protocols, developed exclusively for outpatient surgeries.
2. Sean Amann, MD, Aric Christal, MD and David Kuechle, MD, will all see patients at the center. They’ve adopted the SwiftPath Method.
3. Dr. Christal said, “SwiftPath is changing how joint replacements are done, by decreasing the length of stay, improving the patient experience and lowering costs. The program also focuses on the patient as the most valuable member of the recovery team. The methods used assist us in our goal of returning our patients to normal activities as quickly and safely as possible.”
4. SwiftPath will solicit feedback from the surgeons to continue to refine the SwiftPath Method.
