Dr. Naser Rustom to Open $5.5M Outpatient Surgery Center Catering to Islamic Faith

Naser Rustom, MD, has proposed to open a $5.5 million outpatient surgery center in Orland Park, Ill., that would adhere to Islamic religious law, according to a Crain’s Chicago Business report.

The surgery center will cater to patients of all backgrounds, but also include room for ritual washing and prayer associated with the Islamic faith.

The center will offer pain management, gastroenterology and general surgery services.

Dr. Rustom is waiting for the project to be approved by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board.
