Here are four things to know:
1. DVVI broke ground on the Desert Endovascular Surgery Center in October and expects to open the center in January 2018. Parag Rami, MD, is the owner of the center. “Desert Vein & Vascular Institute represents a new concept in outpatient endovascular care with a focus on personalized medicine for the individual patient seeking vascular health,” he said.
2. At the new center, Dr. Rami will treat vein and vascular disorders including peripheral artery disease, deep vein thrombosis and varicose veins.
3. Dr. Rami has more than 13 years of experience, including seven years working in an outpatient ambulatory setting, and has a special interest in focusing on the patient experience.
4. Desert Endovascular Surgical Center achieved AAAASF accreditation and Dr. Rami has performed more than 7,500 ablation procedures for varicose veins in his lifetime.
