CRH Medical gains traction in ASC space through Texas GI anesthesia practice acquisition

CRH Medical Corp. bought San Antonio, Texas-based Alamo, a GI anesthesia practice, according to Markets Insider.

Here are four things to know:

1. Alamo provides anesthesia services to surgery centers spanning San Antonio.

2. The deal mark CRH’s second acquisition in the state.

3. For 2018, Alamo’s estimated annual revenue is $1.8 million.

4. On the deal, CRH CEO Edward Wright said, “We are very pleased to have completed our sixth anesthesia acquisition of 2017. Alamo is an existing O’Regan customer and our second acquisition in Texas. We look forward to continue leveraging the strength of our O’Regan business to expand our anesthesia business further.”
