Connecticut Orthopedic Specialty Group to Convert Former Clothing Store Into Surgery Center

The physicians of Orthopedic Specialty Group, based in Connecticut, intend to purchase a building that once housed two clothing stores and convert it into their new Fairfield, Conn., practice location, according to a Fairfield Citizen report.

The plans, submitted to the Town Plan and Zoning Commission, call for a 5,500-square-foot surgery center. The orthopedic practice also plans to expand the 43,276-square-foot building to 43,788 square feet. The facility would include the surgery center, a clinical department, radiology department, urgent care center, physical therapy department and administrative offices.
