1. Conifer helped Canopy earlier in the year to acquire a restricted Knox-Keene license from the California Department of Managed Health Care.
The licenses allows Canopy to contract with health plans to develop insurance products.
2. Through the license, Canopy Health can develop savings arrangements and quality care standards.
3. Canopy is planning to partially turn over financial, administrative and management services to Conifer Health.
