What you should know:
1. Steamboat Springs-based providers Steamboat Orthopaedic and Spine Institute and UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center are developing the surgery center.
2. The surgery center will occupy 9,150 square feet on the ground floor of the two-story building.
3. The other floor of the building will feature offices and clinical space.
4. Institute orthopedic surgeon Patrick Johnston, DO, said the development team is targeting a May or June 2020 opening.
