Colorado hospital moves procedure center — 4 insights

Fruita-based Family Health West’s Colorado Canyons Hospital and Medical Center opened a new medical center also in Fruita, which houses an outpatient procedure center, The Daily Sentinel reports.

What you should know:

1. The medical center relocated several services to the $8 million building, including its pain management and rehabilitation services and its outpatient procedure center.

2. The procedure center has four preoperative rooms, four postoperative rooms and several treatment rooms.

3. The new center is larger than the hospital’s old procedure center.

4. The hospital hopes to build out unfinished space in the building for its podiatry and orthopedic programs in the future.
